  1. HEART CHECK:
We find a great prayer for every day in Psalm 14:19, "May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer."

This verse is a reminder that the thoughts, attitudes, and motives of our hearts are in full view of God all the time. This thought will either bring us comfort or shame.

In Matthew 15:8, Jesus quotes Isaiah when he says, "These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me."

True worship is in the heart. We can sing the best worship songs in the world with all kinds of energy, but it must come from the heart. We can make our hearts good on our own, only GOd can do that.

So, let's pray this prayer again...and again...and again...
"May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer."
